Comme Un Canape is one of the oldest business and commercial news associations in French Canada. Our focus is entirely on the business and commercial sectors and not on general news gathering and dissemination. Our president is Marie Berthilde, originally of Paris but now of Quebec, and our executive vice president is Charles Dumont, a lifelong resident of Quebec. Historically we began as a print organization, but in the past ten years we have had a growing presence online as well. We have a total of 39 employees, a number that has remained more or less constant over the years. We are a very small and very specialized organization, with no intention of growing any larger than we are at present.
